Albemarle’s expansion in Australia will create more than 1000 new jobs across construction and future operations as we continue to grow our world class Kemerton Lithium Hydroxide Processing Plant near Bunbury in the South West of Western Australia.

The plant is the most modern facility of its type in the world, and the biggest in Australia, and has already provided employment for over 2000 people during initial construction and commissioning/operation of its first two processing trains. Both the plant and our corporate office located in the heart of the Perth CBD will expand quickly over the next few years with Kemerton set to double production capacity with the construction of two additional processing trains.
